My neighborhood

My human parents have been busy lately - so I wasn't able to blog. I just can't seem to turn on the computer without their help. I am so happy that I have met a couple of blog-dogs. My new friends are Spencer the chocolate lab (who is soooo adorable) and Rex who is a Dalmation like me. They are both really good-looking dogs with wonderful personalities and their humans really love them - like mine love me. Check out their blogs in my list of favorite links.
The squirrels in the backyard are still taunting me - and now there are also cats! I can only watch them either through the fence or through the window glass. They KNOW that I can only watch and bark! At least this gives me something to do in between my naps.
My human mother walks me everyday - rain or shine. We have some new dogs in the neighborhood. These dogs are protecting a vacant house. The man who lived in the house died recently and his son put a fence around the property and placed three of his dogs inside the fence to keep people out. He put a sign on the fence that says: "Pack of dogs will attack evil-doers." These dogs are Anatolian Shepherds and they are really nice dogs. I love to go up and say hi to them. I like it when there is only one at the fence - when the others come up, I get a little scared because they are BIG dogs. My human mother just pets them and rubs their ears through the fence. She keeps telling them that she wishes that she could take them home with her! Should I be worried? I am an only dog and I really don't want to share my humans with anyone! But then again they haven't brought home any other dogs yet so maybe I'm safe for now! There used to be another dog at my house but he died last Thanksgiving. He was older when I moved in and not very friendly - actually he was a strange dog. My human parents found him on the side of the road over 10 years ago and kept him. He was an outside dog and really preferred to be out in the yard. I'll have to tell some stories on him in a later blog. It's almost time for the Super Bowl to be over, so I had better get off the computer before I get caught!!
Bow! Wow! Fellow dog-bloggers.
